Happy Birthday to us!

It's hard to believe that we are getting to be so old! Old as dirt ...as my mom used to say.

We were both born just 4 days apart in the same state, city and even hospital! Gary's dad said that when he was born his mom stayed in the hospital for a week so we were probably in the nursery together for at least 3 days. Gary was the big 10 baby and I was just over 5 lbs. Gary's family moved around a lot because his dad worked for IBM. My family and I stayed in Salt Lake my whole life. Eventually Gary's family moved back to Salt Lake city and by then I worked with his cousin and we had become best friends. She lined us up and the rest as they say is history ...we've been married 34 years! We celebrated Gary's birthday with our daughter and her husband. They made us this awesome cake. It's the first time in 34 years that I didn't have to make the cake! I have to admit it felt a little weird, kind of like I was being a slacker! My birthday will be tomorrow, so here's hoping we have many more wonderful years together.
