Martin Luther King holiday

Life was especially sweet this past weekend because we had our entire immediate family home for the 4 day weekend. What could be better than having Stephen off from school, our daughter Whitney home after serving an honorable mission in Russia, our son Eric home after completing a safe and successful deployment to Iraq, and our son Mike and his sweet wife Jessica and our 3 amazing grandchildren here for a visit?

We had such a fun time playing games, watching videos, playing guitar hero (band), ping pong, eating out, photo shoot, and lots of play time with the little ones. It couldn't have been better! Thanks everyone for coming to see us. I can't wait until the next get together! Mike said that the traffic between Houston and Tulsa on their way home was terrible. I should have remembered he was heading straight into rush hour traffic ...not fun. We're glad everyone made it safely home. I'll try to post some pictures of our adventures on the family blog in the next day or two.
