What are the odds?

My husband was recently selected to be a potential juror. They must be fixated on a certain letter of the alphabet, you know ...the one that begins our last name! I say this because our son and I received a similar notice back in May. Mind you this son hasn't resided in our great State since 1999! (They obviously need to update their rolls.)The long and short of my mentioning this is that he wasn't chosen either. They had 170 people show up and only needed 6 so the odds were/were not in his favor, depending on your point of view. He thought the good news from having donated a day to the process was that he wouldn't be asked to come back for at least 3 years. Woo hoo!
